Rare Tractor ~ family legacy!

This was my first tractor restoration project and I really appreciate OEM’s help with it.  My father was the second owner to this Canadian tractor and he was going to start restoringing it and then passed away unexpectedly.  Needless to say, I wanted to take the reigns over on the project and finish it as a tribute to him.  This is a rare model with only ~3000 made.  The S/N is 11577 S.

Farmall Model A in 1947

I hope you are well and all the OEM team who I spend the morning. I restore my last one Farmall Model A in 1947, sold new in France. It has already been restored faith by my friend Alain, but there are parts that are original and others a little old.  As I am a bit of a perfectionist with my Farmall, so I’ve bought parts this month.

1953 Farmall Super A

This is my 1953
Farmall Super A. This was my grandfathers tractor that he bought new and I always loved going for rides when I was little. He left it to me and I decided
to go ahead and restore it in memory of him.

We just finished up this 1952 Farmall Super C

We just finished up this 1952 Farmall Super C. It belongs to my 11 year old daughter Kendra Wood.  As usual, a big thanks to OEM for helping me out with any of the parts I needed!!!

Proud Son

This is my father . He worked for International Harvester  for over 30 years ,and has actually built these tractors when they were in production . He helped me in the restoration with invaluable information. I also worked for Harvester from 1971 to 1982 when they closed the plant. This is my first restoration still in process with minor things to finish this tractor, front emblem, grill screen, new steering wheel and battery box. It will also be used in the hay field to pull a hay collector .

I hope do do a few more in the future.

Farmall Super A – Father/Son Project

I have sent you two photos of my restored Farmall Super A.  This was a father/son project which I did the sand blasting on the removed metal and my son painted the tractor and helped with the mechanical issues.  I was raised on a farm with this model tractor and looked for almost 10 years in my locale to find one to restore.

I took it to the 19th Annual Red Power Round Up in Columbia, Missouri.

1949 Super A

I’ve uploaded a picture of my 1949 Super A.  The picture was shot as I was running it in our local parade (Bloomer, WI) in 2004, just after I bought it.  It’s been in that same parade 3 times now and I always enjoy the smiles it brings to some of the old farmers that may have had one brand new right off the showroom floor

1957 International 330 Utility

I traded a 1949 Farmall Cub with equipment for this 1957 330 Utility. This is the way I got it in September of this year. I hope to do some repainting and minor body work. Tractor runs great.
