Pictures of my 1953 SW4

Hello everyone. Would like to share photos of my grandfather’s SW4 that my dad and I just finished restoring. Dad says grandpa bought the tractor used in June of 1961, it had been overhauled the fall before (pistons and sleeves) along with 4 new tires. the original owner got sick that winter and sold everything at auction in the spring. Its been on the family farm ever since. My uncle re tiered the tractor in the early 2000. Dad and I picked it up from him and this summer finaly resotred it. Now it will be used for parades and to give rides to the kids!

Enjoy!  Ron.

1940 Farmall H

Kyle Marrufo is hard to turn loose of his favorite toy, just as I was when I spent many a long day and some nights on a 1940 just like this one. I’m 75 now and still enjoy looking over the hood of the old H

Thanks for all your help restoring this one!!!

Farmall 450

Hi,

I finished this Farmall 450 Diesel over the past winter. I purchased it in Eastern Alberta in the fall of 2008. I really wanted a Farmall 450 for my collection as they were not a common tractor in this part of the world. There were more International W-450’s shipped to Western Canada.

The tractor was pretty much a total basket case and I hate to think of how much time and money I have invested in it.

I also love the fact that the tractor is a diesel. To me that design of diesel engine was quite a piece of engineering.

As it turns out I rebuilt the engine completely, rebuilt the T/A, rebuilt the transmission, replaced the axle bearings and seals, replaced the radiator, and replaced all the gauges along with the wiring harness. I had the mechanical work all done to the tractor by the fall of 2009.

In November of 2010 we started on the cosmetic part of the restoration.

By the end of January 2011 it was completed. I forgot to mention that I put four new tires on it.

I’d like to thank OEM for the great products they sell. It would be very hard to do a great restoration without the parts they sell.

Best Regards,
